Three exams down, one to go.
Woo-freakin'-hoo. <3
My nose is stuffy. And that sucks. I'd rather not live out my last couple days of the semester as this bloooob of a person. Ohhhh well.
Theater is fantastic, but you all know that. And it's depressing.
Yesterday, when I was decorating one of my props for one of my fnal scenes (I spring out of a box as a birthday present! :D ), I made a comment about how I only seem to care about my Acting class, and if I put this much effort into my other classes, my life would be set. And then Matt said something along the lines of, "Well at least you have a passion!"
... And that's when I realized I'm not even majoring in the one thing I love most. I'll put all this time and effort into four (or five) performances a year for the next couple years, or at least until I get bogged down with my actual major classes, and then I'll probably never set foot backstage again.
What's the point of having a passion, then? What's the point of pouring my heart and soul into something I'll never touch after college? It's like being trapped in a doomed relationship. Ultimately, you know it will just have to end, but you're too busy being caught up in the excitement and exhiliration to care.
It's best not to think about that now.
It is, however, best to get some sleep. Good ol' sleep, how I have missed you.
